Beckham will earn more from FIFA 2021 than he did at Man Utd and PSG
According to The Daily Mail, the ex-England international has signed a three-year deal with EA Sports worth 40 million pounds (more than 48 million euros).
David Beckham has amassed a huge fortune since the beginning of his career that has continued to grow over the years. The ex-footballer has built most of that fortune around his image and is a money-making machine. He is the founder and co-owner of Inter Miami, has a huge number of successful businesses, and maintains multi-million-dollar advertising contracts with a wide range of brands.
In 2019, The Mirror estimated that the combined fortune of David and Victoria Beckham was 900 million euros – a breath-taking amount, to which the former Manchester United midfielder has now added another significant sum thanks to his return to the FIFA video games series.
As announced just a few days ago, Beckham will become the protagonist of 'FIFA 21 Beckham Edition': he will be the cover star of the Standard Edition and an icon player of FUT and VOLTA. In addition, as has been rumoured, his cards could be the most expensive ever seen so far in the legendary gaming series. Beckham’s return to the cover 23 years after he last graced the cover has been a profitable venture for the former Real Madrid player.
Beckham will earn €48m
According to The Daily Mail, the ex-England international has signed a three-year deal with EA Sports worth 40 million pounds (more than 48 million euros). "It is a great addition to the Beckham brand, and the easiest money he has ever earned," a close source told the British daily.
In fact, as the Daily Mail points out, Beckham is going to earn more from this latest FIFA venture than he earned with some of the teams he played for during his time as a player: at Manchester United, he earned around 100,000 pounds (approximately 112,000 euros) a week, while his five-year contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy signed in 2007 was worth around 28 million euros.
