Ancelotti heralds the return of fans to football stadiums

The Italian coach was delighted to see a return of supporters as his Everton side secured maximum points in a 1-0 over Chelsea at Goodison Park.

Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti was delighted to see fans return to Goodison Park for the first time since March of this year due to the covid-19 pandemic.

Speaking after the win over Chelsea, the Italian stated: "I'm really pleased, really pleased. In front of our supporters, there were only two thousand of them but we’re really happy for them".

“They have seen a good match from Everton. We played well, and showed fantastic spirit.”
