It just wouldn’t be Christmas without basketball and the NBA is playing Santa this year by giving fans a set of matchups too big to fit in the stockings. The four conference champions from the bubble are all included. Along with Zion Williamson and Luka Doncic, two of the NBA’'s highest profile rising stars.

The 73rd NBA Christmas Day showcase will start on the East Coast in Miami, where the Heat will face the Pelicans debuting Zion Williamson. Then the action moves to the Midwest where the Buck’s Curry will meet the Warrior’s Antetokounmpo. And then back to the East Coast where the Celtics will take on the Nets before the action heads west.

The evening will belong to Los Angeles with the defending 2020 champions the Lakers matched up against the up-and-coming Mavericks while the Clippers get a chance at revenge against the Nuggets.

Christmas Day 2020 NBA schedule

12:00 pm EST: New Orleans Pelicans vs. Miami Heat (ESPN)

The 2019 top overall pick Zion Williamson will make a Christmas Day debut with the revamped Pelicans against the defending Eastern Conference champions Miami Heat with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.

2:30 pm EST: Golden State Warriors vs. Milwaukee Bucks (ABC)

Returning to the court for Christmas after missing last year due to injury, Stephen Curry will face off with Giannis Antetokounmpo. The two MVPs should make for an exciting game.

5:00 pm EST: Brooklyn Nets vs. Boston Celtics (ABC)

Returning to Boston for the first time since leaving the Celtics in 2019, Kyrie Irving playing with now equally fit Kevin Durrant.

8:00 pm: Dallas Mavericks vs. Los Angeles Lakers (ABC)

Prime time will see LeBron James and Luka Doncic face off on the court making for an ideal holiday matchup. The up-and-coming Mavericks will take on the reigning 2020 champions on their home turf.

10:30 pm: Los Angeles Clippers vs. Denver Nuggets (ESPN)

This will be a rematch of the second-round playoff matchup between the two teams that ended in the Clippers stunning defeat after a 3-1 series lead over the Nuggets.
