Second stimulus check voting in House and Senate: times and how to follow online
With an agreement in place on a much-needed coronavirus relief package, Monday will see voting take place in the House of Representatives and the Senate.
We now know that after months of division amid the negotiations for a coronavirus relief package to follow the CARES Act which was introduced back in March, we finally have an agreement between Republicans and Democrats. It may not be a bill that is to everyone's liking, but it is something that can offer some assistance to many in need.
Sunday saw the agreement reached, and Monday will see the votes cast to approve the bill before Donald Trump can put his signature on it.

Stimulus bill: when is the vote?
The $900 billion bill that has been agreed includes elements such as direct payments to lower-income Americans and it also provides enhanced payments to those people who find themselves unemployed, as the impact of the pandemic pushed unprecedented numbers into this situation.

First the House of Representatives will vote. The members will begin to consider the package from around 9 a.m. Eastern Time (15:00 CET) when they are scheduled to convene. The vote then follows. After this, the Senate will cast their votes.
