What does each team need to do to qualify for NFL play-offs: Rams, Colts, Dolphins...
The 2020 NFL playoffs will feature 14 teams overall, seven from the AFC and seven from the NFC an increase of two from the traditional 12.
At present what we do know about the 2020 NFL play-offs are that six franchises have clinched a place in the play-offs which commence in early January with reigning champions KC Chiefs through along with Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers from the AFC Conference. Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints are the three NFC teams guaranteed of a play-off spot. Eight spaces remain available for the new 14 team 2020/21 play-off system.
The 25-year-old finished with 155 yards rushing on 22 carries. He also had three receptions for 17 yards.
AFC play-off hopefuls
With two games of the regular season remaining, in the AFC, Cleveland, Tennessee, Indianapolis and Miami are strongly placed to advance but Baltimore and the LA Raiders still hold outside chances of progressing but need to win their final games and hope that other results go their way. The Dolphins match-up against the Raiders in LA is the pick of the bunch from week 16 games on Saturday night with the losers virtually waving goodbye to a play-off place.
NFC candidates
Things are more open in the National Football Conference with eight teams hoping to secure the four berths available in the play-offs with Washington, LA Rams, Tampa Bay and Arizona currently occupying the placings that would see all four franchises advance with Chicago, Dallas, NY Giants and Philadelphia still with a mathematical possibility of progression.
