While the night is just getting started, there's already one celebrity making us swoon with her Golden Globes look: Sarah Hyland.
The Modern Family actress turned heads while hosting the Live From E!: Countdown to the Golden Globes. She oozed with glamour wearing a fiery red off-the-shoulder gown that featured a voluminous pleated skirt and curve-hugging bodice. She dazzled in a Monique Lhuillier design.
Sarah's old Hollywood-inspired fashion wasn't the only thing worth raving over because her beauty was just as fabulous. For one, the 30-year-old star's crimson-coloured ensemble perfectly complemented her new red hair, which she debuted earlier this week.
But best of all? The award-winning actress used wallet-friendly products, proving you don't need to break the bank to look like a million bucks. Luckily, E! News has all of the details on Sarah's red carpet glam.

ONE TO WATCH: Television category - The Flight Attendant
Breaking free from the pigeon-holing of a long stint on a juggernaut US sitcom can be a daunting prospect, as a certain group of Friends can attest. Kaley Cuoco might have done enough in The Flight Attendant to break free of the Big Bang Theory mould though and it will be interesting to see if her boozy, scenery-trashing turn in the HBO Max comedy-thriller lands her the gong.
The Flight Attendant is nominated in the category of Best Musical/ Comedy Series and Best Television Actress in a Musical / Comedy Series, Kaley Cuoco.

Golden Globe for Gambit? Anya Taylor Joy's joyful year celebrated
The television category is widely expected to be a straight duel between Netflix’s blockbuster fictional chess drama The Queen’s Gambit and the fourth season of The Crown, also a beneficiary of Netflix’s royal coffers.
Anya-Taylor Joy’s performance as troubled chess prodigy Beth Harmon secured the 24-year-old’s status as the next big thing (and provided further redemption for Thomas “let’s kick the shit out of love” Brodie-Sangster following his excellent turn in 2017's Godless). Taylor-Joy is a shoo-in for the cumbersome title of best actress in a limited series, anthology series or motion picture made for television category, although Shira Haas’ performance in Unorthodox would also be a worthy recipient.
Go beyond the nomination, Helena Zengel and News of the World
NEWS OF THE WORLD is an American Western drama film co-written and directed by Paul Greengrass, based on the 2016 novel of the same name by Paulette Jiles, and starring Tom Hanks and Helena Zengel.
A Civil War veteran agrees to deliver a girl, taken by the Kiowa people years ago, to her aunt and uncle, against her will. They travel hundreds of miles and face grave dangers as they search for a place that either can call home.

WATCH: "Mank" Director David Fincher behind the scenes chat
While Netflix’s Oscar contender “Mank” was directed by David Fincher, the script was written by his father, Jack Fincher, prior to his death in 2003. Gary Oldman, who starred in the film as “Citizen Kane” screenwriter Herman Mankiewicz, said Fincher’s script was one of the best he had read in a long time.
“It is fun to be a detective and go off and read things and find out things and all of that,” Oldman said. “That’s great fun, but I felt that the work had really been done by Jack.”
In the Variety Streaming Room, hosted by deputy awards and features editor Jenelle Riley, the cast and crew of “Mank” discussed how Jack Fincher’s script was able to capture the extensive legacies of some of the icons from the golden age of Hollywood, as well as the challenges of shooting in black and white.
