Juventus could be kicked out of Serie A over Super League move
Gabriele Gravina, president of the Italian Football Federation, restated that the rules governing the behaviour of clubs in the league "are simple principles."
The news keeps getting worse for Juventus. After Sunday's humiliating defeat to AC Milan, which once again puts them out of the Champions League qualification places with just three games to go, the Bianconeri received another blow on Monday, this time from the Italian Football Federation.
Juventus’ Serie A place under threat
President of the Federation, Gabriele Gravina, spoke to the press while in Naples for an event and responded to questions about the situation of the club that has dominated Italian football for the last decade.

“If Juventus do not respect the rules [i.e. withdraw from Super League], they will be excluded from Serie A at the time of registration for next season,” he boldly postured. “Nine other clubs have backed out [from the proposals], but there are three others who are resisting. Among them, as you know, is Juventus.” The other two clubs being Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.
The head of Italian football explained more about the principles that should be followed.
“They are simple principles, stated by the Olympic Charter and then reported by the statutes of national and international federations.
“They are clear principles, in which sport management exclusivity is established. I hope that, and want, this dispute can be resolved as soon as possible. We are all a bit tired of this tug-of-war between UEFA and these three clubs.
“I hope to be able to mediate between Juventus and UEFA.”
