Sporting KC's Gianluca Busio receives offers from Serie A teams

Sporting Kansas City midfielder Gianluca Busio is one of the young players to watch during the 2021 Major League Soccer regular season. The 19-year-old has made eight appearances this year and he has scored two goals and given one assist.
On the radar of several Serie A teams
Busio is having a breakout season in Major League Soccer and he has attracted the interest of several teams in Serie A. According to MLSSoccer.com, he is being closely watched by Fiorentina, but Sporting Kansas City has rejected a $4 million offer.
According to the reports, other Serie A teams that are interested in Busio are Sassuolo and Parma. The player has been part of the United States youth national team and signed a Homegrown contract with Kansas City in 2017.
Busio has been called up to the U15, U17 and U20 United States national team and he first joined the Sporting Kansas City first team in 2019. He has dual citizenship and the Netherlands are trying to convince Busio to join them at international level.
