"One of the best in the world" - Rabiot and Lemar praise Kanté
Rabiot and Lemar praised their France team-mate Kanté, a key player in Chelsea's Champions League success
Following his Champions League final heroics for Chelsea, N'Golo Kante has been identified as a potential candidate for the Balon d'Or. The French midfielder was instrumental to the Blues' Premier League top four success and Champions League campaign, which culminated with their 1-0 win over Manchester City in the final on 26 May. Now he will look to play his part in France's road to Euro 2020 glory.
Ahead of France's opening Euro 2020 game against Germany on 15 June, Kante's international team mates, Adrien Rabiot and Thomas Lemar were full of praise for the Chelsea man. Although Rabiot was unwilling to label him the best player in the world.
"The best in the world? I don't know. One of the best in the world? Yes, certainly," said Rabiot. "Because of his performances and the fact that he won the Champions League. He's a player who brings a lot to the table."
