Previews of today's group-stage games at Euro 2020, plus all the information you need on how and where to watch.

It’s Friday 18 June. It's Day 8 of Euro 2020. Let's check out what action lies ahead as the second round of the group is underway...

Sweden vs Slovakia | 9 am ET

Preview

Sweden and Slovakia will go head-to-head in Saint Petersburg in Group E, with a win set to seal progress for either side. Both teams got positive results last Friday against Spain and Poland respectively and will try to offer another good performance this Friday.

The Swedish squad will try to reach the next round after their draw against Spain. It would be the first time they get the ticket to the round of 16 since 2004.

Against Spain, Janne Andersson's side only had 15% possession, but that didn’t prevent them from being a threat up front, with Aleksander Isak and Marcus Berg with good chances to score.

Sweden have met Slovakia five times before, with two wins and three draws, but Slovakia won’t be an easy opponent, as they proved with a 2-1 victory over Poland last week.

Five veterans of Slovakia's 2010 World Cup campaign are still playing: Vladimir Weiss, Peter Pekarik, Juraj Kucka, Dusan Kuciak and captain Marek Hamsik are carrying out their national duty once again.

AS English prediction: Sweden 1-0 Slovakia

Venue: Gazprom Arena, Saint Petersburg, Russia

Kick-off time: 9am ET, 6am PT, 3pm CEST

Croatia vs Czech Republic | 12 noon ET

Preview

Croatia will try to get their first Euro 2020 win after losing to England in their first match when they take on the Czech Republic at Hampden Park on Friday in Group D.

The World Cup runners-up in Russia three years ago are sitting third with two games left to play, while the Czech squad was one of the positive surprises of the tournament with their good start in the competition, after beating Scotland 2-0.

Zlatko Dalic’s men have only got two wins from their last 10 games in all competitions, but they have gone 10 major tournaments without losing their second game. Moreover, it has been 25 years since Croatia opened their Euro campaign with back-to-back defeats.

Meanwhile, the Czech squad, who are aiming to open their European Championship campaign with back-to-back wins for only the second time ever, have failed to win any of their previous three meetings with Croatia.

AS English prediction: Croatia 2-1 Czech Republic

Venue: Hampden Park, Glasgow, Scotland

Kick-off time: 12 noon ET, 9am PT, 6pm CEST

England vs Scotland | 3pm ET

Preview

Passion and tension. That’s probably what fans watching live in Wembley and on TV are going to feel when England and Scotland clash in what promises to be a mouthwatering contest in Group D.

The Three Lions, one of the favorites to win the trophy, won their opening match over Croatia last Sunday thanks to Raheem Sterling’s goal, while, as previously mentioned, Scotland suffered a 2-0 loss to the Czech Republic.

The Three Lions, who have been victorious in their last seven matches in all competitions conceding just once, are sitting second in the standings together with the Czech side, while Steve Clarke's men, in last position, are now having ground to make up in the group.

England, who haven't made it past the quarter-finals of the European Championship since reaching the final four in 1996, have been unbeaten in their last four matches with Scotland. However, the visitors will be fired up to take on their rivals on Friday and change their recent history.

A positive result –a win or draw- on Friday would leave Scotland in the mix, for second or third, ahead of their final game with Croatia.

AS English prediction: England 1-1 Scotland

Venue: Wembley Stadium, London, England

Kick-off time: 3pm ET, 12 noon PT, 9pm CEST
