It’s Sunday 20 June. It's Day 10 of Euro 2020. Let's check out what action lies ahead as the second round of the group stages continues...

Italy vs Wales | 12 noon ET

Preview

Italy have advanced to the last 16 of Euro 2020 with two impressive showings against Turkey and Switzerland. Wales have picked up four points from their opening two games. A draw for the Welshmen today would see them advance to the next round regardless of what happens in the Switzerland-Turkey game. The Italians only need a point to secure first place in group A, though finishing second may offer the more favourable route.

Wales manager Robert Page spoke ahead of the clash with the Azzurri. "We can't plan for [qualification], if four points is good enough to get through then brilliant. We'll pick a team and formation to go out against Italy and compete, and get the win. We want to win every game we play, and it's no different on Sunday."

Roberto Mancini has confirmed Marco Verratti will start for Italy. Wales are set to name the same starting XI for the third consecutive game.

AS English prediction: Italy 2-0 Wales

Venue: Stadio Olimpico, Rome, Italy

Switzerland vs Turkey | 12 noon ET

Preview

It is a case of do or die for both teams coming into their final group game. Switzerland drew with Wales in their opening game before losing to Italy. The Swiss can finish second on goal difference if they win and Wales lose to group leaders Italy, though three points are required to stay in contention for one of the four third-placed team spots.

Turkey currently sit bottom of the group after two defeats to Italy and Wales and are searching for a win to secure a third place spot ahead of Switzerland. A poor goal difference means even a win today for Turkey may not be enough to qualify in third.
