PSG agree personal terms with Sergio Ramos over Ligue 1 move
According to Le Parisien, PSG have agreed a deal with Sergio Ramos and also expect to announce the arrival of Achraf Hakimi this week.
Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly agreed personal terms with former Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos and expect to finalize a deal to bring the 35-year-old Spain defender to the Parc des Princes in the coming days. Ramos left Real Madrid at the end of his contract after the club failed to reach an agreement with the former Sevilla defender over an extension after 16 seasons at the Bernabéu. According to Le Parisien, PSG and Ramos have made a verbal deal over a transfer after the defender became a free agent on June 30.
Ramos and Achraf imminent at PSG
The Ligue 1 giants are also expected to announce the signing of Achraf Hakimi within days, according to the same source. The 22-year-old Inter Milan full back is on the verge of signing a five-year deal at the Parc des Princes after a standout season at San Siro. Achraf, a Real Madrid academy graduate, spent two seasons on loan at Borussia Dortmund after failing to dislodge Dani Carvajal from the starting XI at the Bernabéu.
PSG are expected to pay a fee of €70m to Inter for the transfer, after the Serie A side paid Madrid €40m for his services a year ago. The Bernabéu board will also get a sell-on fee for the Morocco international of €2.1m for formation rights.
PSG are due back for pre-season training on Monday, despite many of their players remaining on international duty, with Mauricio Pochettino set to start his first full campaign at the helm against Troyes on August 8. A week earlier, PSG will face Ligue 1 champions Lille in the pre-season curtain raiser Trophée des Champions.
