With California experiencing severe heat and many Los Angles residents are looking to a timeless option to stay cool this summer -- public pools.
Southern California has experienced record-breaking temperature this year, sending people in mass to public pools that up until this summer had been closed due to the pandemic.
With covid-19 protocols in place, the city of Los Angles has opted to reopen pools to help keep residents cool through historic heatwaves.
Which pools are open?
The Department of Recreation and Parks launched a tool to help residents find public facilities, including pools. The search asks for your starting address and for you to identify the type of facility you are interested in locating, ranging from pools to museums and tennis courts.
