Though Atletico Madrid is currently undefeated, their win against Elche was a narrow one. It was Angel Correa who scored the one and only goal against Elche, on a mistake from Kiko Casilla. Though Correa has been performing well, he is out of position and Luis Suarez is getting older.

Simeone admits that even though Suarez and Correa are playing better each game, he would be more comfortable with another striker. There are still eight days left in the transfer window and though no breakthroughs have been made, Atletico has been linked with a move dor Fiorentina striker Dušan Vlahović. "I think we still need one, and we'll try to see what we can get," Simeone said.
