The domino effect which Kylian Mbappé's proposed move to Real Madrid would cause may directly affect Bayern Munich. In France, RMC Sport are reporting that PSG have already started the search for a replacement for the striker and have contacted agent Pini Zahavi. However, German daily Bild assure that the reason behind the Israeli agent's trip to Paris was to discuss the possibility of a contract extension for his client, Neymar. RMC claims that talks between Zahavi and PSG turned to two Bayern players who could potentially fill the void left by Mbappé if he leaves to join Real Madrid - Robert Lewandowski and Kingsley Coman.

Lewandowski's contract

Regarding Lewandowski, who is under contract until 2023, Bayern have sent out a clear message. "He has two years left on his contract and during that time, he will play for Bayern without question," club president Herbert Hainer said recently. The only way that Bayern might reconsider their stance is if they receive an offer too good to resist for the striker, or if the player decides he wants to play somewhere else, as has been claimed. But the player who is more likely to end up at PSG is Coman.

The French winger isn't too happy about the wage increase which the German champions have proposed in their offer to extend his contract (which like Lewandowski's, also expires in 2023); if Coman doesn't agree new terms, Bayern would be willing to let him go and he would be the ideal replacement for Mbappé at PSG.
