Spanish professional tennis player Rafa Nadal has converted his training center into a high performance tennis academy called the Rafa Nadal Academy in Mallorca, Spain, where he is from. Nadal himself is ranked as the number 6 player by the ATP world standards and has been ranked number one in the ATP rankings for 209 weeks, and has won 20 Grand Slam men’s titles in his career. He shares this record with Swiss professional tennis player Roger Federer.

Federer's hopes for his children's futures

The point of the Rafa Nadal Academy is for students to be able to practice the sport as well as receive an education so that they don’t have to give up one for the other. The school’s focus is mainly children and adolescents. Federer, who has two sets of twins, said that he’d like to send his children to the academy some day. He laughed, saying that he hopes they come back after a week saying they hate it because it’s so hard.
