Barcelona face Benfica in Portugal on Wednesay at 15:00 ET as Ronald Koeman's men look to collect their first points of the new 2021/22 European season.

The Blaugrana are coming off the back of a 3-0 defeat to Bayern Munich at Camp Nou in the opening round of Champions League games.

The Dutch coach will opt for a 4-2-3-1 formation, repeating the same formation that he deployed in the 3-0 home win against Levante at the weekend. Gavi looks set to start alongside Pedri and Coutinho.

Team news

Pedri is back in the squad after a short spell out through injury as is Sergi Roberto. Ousmane Dembélé, Martin Braithwaite, Sergio Agüero and Jordi Alba all remain on the sidelines. Having made his return to the first team with a goal at the weekend after 11 months out, Ansu Fati is also back in the Champions League squad.
