Luka Doncic and the Mavs pulverize the Hornets in their final preseason game
The Dallas Mavericks came to play and Luka Doncic did what he does best in this brutal 127-59 defeat over the Michael Jordan-led Charlotte Hornets.
The Dallas Mavericks gave the Charlotte Hornets a ruthless beating in the Hornets' final preseason game on Thursday. The defeat was the biggest one ever seen in the NBA by 68 points. Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd was treating the game as a dress rehearsal for the regular season, and apparently the Hornets....were not.
The Mavs were leading by 72 points in the final quarter and when the game buzzer finally sounded, the final score was a nasty 127-59. Luka Doncic wasn't actually the star of the game, though he did put up 10 points, four rebounds, and eight assists in his 26 minutes of play time. In this video, you can see how effortlessly he just waltzes over and tosses one in the basket like it's nothing. Unfortunately, that particular basket didn't count, but it certainly shows off Luka's skills.
It was Kristaps Porzingis who really showed out in this, let's be honest, booty-whipping. He scored 17 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Not to mention, he was extremely efficient on defense. Luka seemed content to allow Porzingis to carry the team, which is a good thing for the team.
