The incredible alley-oop between Rajon Rondo and Anthony Davis
The Lakers may have lost to the Warriors, but the alley-oop between Rondo and Davis was one of the most impressive plays of the opening NBA night.
The LA Lakers ended up losing 121-114 to the Golden State Warriors who came back from a 10-point deficit in the NBA's season opener. But it wasn't all bad for the Lakers. Lebron James and Anthony Davis were the Lakers' best players, with Lebron scoring 34 points and 11 rebounds and Davis making 33 points and 11 rebounds.
Everything was going well for the Lakers up until the last quarter. They were up 84-74 in the third quarter. It was Davis and James who did most of the work, but one of the most impressive plays of the night was when new teammate Rajon Rondo tossed the ball up high for an alley-oop with the help of Davis.
The new players will still need some work, including former NBA MVP Russel Westbrook, who scored only four for 13 for eight points in his debut with the Lakers. He's going to need to adjust to the players on the team and the style of the team in general.
