Warriors get the win over the Clippers by two points
Stephen Curry shoots shot after shot for a total of 45 points in the Golden State Warriors home opener game against the LA Clippers for a 115-113 win.
Stephen Curry was the star of the show during Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. He won the game for the Golden State Warriors, hitting a go-ahead 3-pointer with just 56.8 seconds left on the clock, a rebound with 36 seconds left, and then casually a couple free throws with less than five seconds left, and brought the Warriors to the 115-113 win. He had a ridiculous home opener with 45 total points.
The Clippers didn't have too hard of a time on defense with just seven turnovers and did a good job taking care of the ball. They were up at halftime and still up by three by the fourth quarter. But Curry's 45 points and the Clippers' failure to score for nearly six minutes in the last quarter kept them just at bay.
The Clippers will host the Grizzlies on Saturday and the Warriors will travel to Sacramento to play the Kings on Sunday.
