Christian Pulisic is a big Real Madrid fan
The United States men’s national team playmaker grew up liking ‘Los Merengues’ and his dream is to one day play at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu.
Christian Pulisic is one of the best soccer players in the United States and he became the first American to play and win the UEFA Champions League with Chelsea last season. He is in his third campaign at Stamford Bridge, but he has been dealing with a lot of injuries in 2021.
Pulisic dreams of playing with Real Madrid
He has missed a total of nine games across all competitions because he is recovering from an ankle injury suffered last month during the international break with the United States men’s national team. His future is uncertain, but as he continues with his recovery, his father, Mark Pulisic, said that his son has always been a fan of Real Madrid.
“I used to call him Figo when he was little because we saw a lot of Real Madrid games together. He liked how Figo played so I bought him a shirt with his name,” said Mark.
The last time Christian Pulisic faced Real Madrid was last year during the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League. In that two-legged series, the USMNT playmaker scored a goal and provided an assist against the LaLiga side.
