Koeman's final words

Just before Barcelona head coach Ronald Koeman was fired, he was asked if he thought his future at Barcelona was in danger and this was his response.

Just after losing 1-0 to Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday, Barcelona head coach Ronald Koeman was fired. Since Lionel Messi's unexpected departure from the team, the club has been struggling. Barcelona is ninth in the league after 10 games. During Koeman's time, Barcelona had failed to score a goal in 375 minutes. Barca won 39 games, tied 12, and lost 16 in 67 total matches during Koeman's time as manager.

Koeman's final words as Barcelona manager

Just after the game and before he was dismissed, a reporter asked him, "You said yesterday that results will determine your future. Do you think this one could put you in danger?"

He didn't directly respond with a yes or no, but you can see in his face that he was indeed worried. He acknowledged that the team has lost its balance and that they haven't been able to do what their rivals have done over the last few years to make it to the top of the table.
