This will be the second time the Titans and the Colts have played this season. In the first matchup in Nashville the Titans won 25-16 courtesy of three Ryan Tannehill touchdowns.

The Titans were the out and out favorite to win the division but the Colts are making a mid season surge to give Tennessee a run for their money.

A big suprise coming out of the sportsbooks today is the Colts are the favorites today's game.

Hello everyone and welcome to Lucas Oil Stadium where the Indianapolis Colts are looking to make it four wins in their last five games. The Titans have gone from one of the dissapointments of the early year to looking like one of the strongest teams in the AFC.

It’s and AFC South showdown in an early Sunday kickoff from Indianapolis. AS English will have you covered with up to the minute updates, stats, scores and highlights from Lucas Oil Stadium as the Indianapolis Colts host the Tennessee Titans.

The Titans are coming off of two statement wins after a beginning of the season that threw Mike Vrable’s team under the microscope after getting crushed by Arizona, needing a miracle to comeback on the Seattle Seahawks, and then inexplicably losing to the Jets.

Since then Vrabel and the Titan’s have righted the ship and will now look to string together a fourth straight win. A bounce back win over the Jags after losing the jaw dropper to New York preceded a narrow win over the Bills, who many believed (and still believe) are the best team in the conference. They carried their good form into Week 7 with a thumping 27-3 win over the Chiefs.

The Titans are right where they want to be after a tough start to the season, They lead the AFC South, share a tie of the best record in the conference and are well in the hunt to wrap up home field for the playoffs if they can continue playing like they have for the last three week.

The Indianapolis Colts have rebounded since opening the season with three straight losses. They have won three of their last four, and their only loss in that stretch came at the hands of the Ravens, in Baltimore and in overtime.

This is the Colts chance to get back in the picture of the AFC South, against a direct rival that looks like they will cruise into the playoffs if Indy doesn’t have anything to do with it.

Colts QB Carson Wentz hasn’t done much to wow in his first season in the horseshoe helmets, but he is playing consistent, steady football. He has only thrown one interception this year, and it came in Week 2. He has thrown for 1,695 yards and 11 touchdowns and eight of those have come in the last four games.

Derrick Henry continues his MVP caliber season. He’s got 869 yards and 10 touchdowns on the year, and in typical King Henry fashion he looks prime to only get better in the second half of the season.

The key for the Colts in Indy will be to stop Henry, and force Ryan Tannehill to beat them. That means stuffing the box and taking some chances with the secondary.

Wentz will have to be consistent, and mistake free as always, but he might just find some space to slice open the Titans secondary. Before the defensive masterpiece against the Chiefs where they gave up just three points the Titans defense was lauded as one of the most vulnerable in the league.
