Messi to miss Leipzig match; Mbappé included in the squad
Lionel Messi has been left out of PSG's squad for Wednesday's Champions League Matchday 4 game against Leipzig at the RB Arena.
Lionel Messi has been left out of the Paris Saint-Germain squad for Wednesday's Champions League meeting with RB Leipzig. Forward Kylian Mbappé has been included in Mauricio Pochettino's 21-man squad for the match.
Messi limped out of PSG's 2-1 win over Lille in Ligue 1 on Friday, replaced by Mauro Icardi. He had missed the previous day's training session due to a hamstring problem.
Kylian Mbappé, who missed the Lille game with an infection, is in the travelling party for the Matchday 4 clash at RB Arena. PSG sit top of Group A with seven points from three games, with Manchester City second on six. Club Brugge are third on four points with Leipzig rock bottom and without a win.
