Arcane is the new and first animated TV Series expanding the successful and popular League of Legends video games franchise story into new formats. The show is a new Netflix Original and will work as a prequel for some of the most beloved characters from League of Legends: Jinx and Vi, two sisters whose background and relationships will be explored in this new fiction. Caitlyn, Jayce and Viktor are other popular characters that will be present in the show.

The series will be perfect for fans aiming to explore the lore of the game or for newcomers in this universe who later might feel interested in the game after watching the series. The first season is launching on November 6, but not all the episodes will be released at the same time.

How many episodes will Arcane have?

As announced by Riot and Netflix, the first season is going to be formed by 9 episodes divided into three acts. No further information on the titles for individual episodes or the acts has been revealed yet. Furthermore, no information has been released regarding what these acts will be about.

When are the acts and the episodes coming out on Netflix?

November 6th is the confirmed date for the release of at least the first three Arcane episodes in Act 1 on Netflix. The other 6 episodes will come out on a weekly basis. The expected launching dates are the following:

  • Act 1: Episode 1 – 3 coming out on November 6th
  • Act 2: Episode 4 – 6 coming out on November 13th
  • Act 3: Episode 7 – 9 coming out on November 20th
