Major League Soccer announce 2021 playoffs schedule
The New England Revolution and the Colorado Rapids have a bye in the first round of the the MLS Cup playoffs and they are scheduled to start on 20 November.
The 2021 Major League Soccer regular season concluded with seven teams from the Eastern and seven from the Western conference booking their ticket to the playoffs. The 2021 MLS Cup playoffs are scheduled to start on 20 November after the conclusion of the international break.
The New England Revolution (Eastern Conference) and the Colorado Rapids (Western Conference) will have a bye in Round One. Both teams clinched the No. 1 seed in their conference after 34 regular season matches and they will have home field advantage throughout the entire playoffs.
Eastern Conference Round One playoffs matches
The Philadelphia Union (2) will host the New York Red Bulls on 20 November at 2:30 pm ET
The New York City FC (4) will host the Atlanta United on 21 November at 3:00 pm ET
The Nashville SC (3) will host the Orlando City SC (6) on 23 November at 8:00 pm ET
Western Conference Round One playoffs matches
The Sporting Kansas City (3) will host the Vancouver Whitecaps (6) on 20 November at 5:00 pm ET
The Portland Timbers (4) will host Minnesota United (5) on 21 November at 5:30 pm ET
The Seattle Sounders (2) will host the Real Salt Lake (7) on 23 November at 10:30 pm ET
