Veterans Day honors all the men and women of uniform who have served the US and many businesses want to participate by offering special deals to our troops.

Every year on 11 November the United States commemorates all those who have given their service to the country with many businesses taking the opportunity to show their gratitude by giving current and former members of the armed forces discounts. A number of eateries around the country are offering special prices on meals or freebies at their establishments.

The deals are only available on 11 November and some are at specific meal hours. You’ll most likely need to she some form of ID to verify that you are currently serving or of your veteran status.

Veterans Day Free Meals

These restaurants are offering veterans free or special priced meals on Veterans Day, 11 November 2021.

Applebee's: Active-duty military members and veterans receive a free meal when dining in from a special menu on 11 November. And when dining that day, military guests will receive a $5 bounce back card to redeem for dine-in, To Go or delivery within three weeks.

Chili's: On 11 November veterans and active-duty service members get a free meal from a select menu. Dine-in only.

Denny's: Veterans and active military personnel get a free Build Your Own Grand Slam on 11 November, from 5 am to noon. Available for in-restaurant only.

Dunkin' Donuts: On 11 November, veterans and active-duty military receive a free donut of your choice at participating locations. Offer available in-store only.

Famous Dave's: Active-duty military members and veterans get a free Georgia Chopped Pork Sandwich + Side on 11 November. Dine-in and To Go. Use code VETERAN at checkout on famousdaves.com/menu.

Green Mill Restaurant and Bar: On 11 November, active-duty military veterans and get a free menu item at participating locations. Available for in-restaurant only.

Hard Rock Café: Active-duty military members and veterans get a free original Legendary Steak Burger on 11 November. Military members can also enjoy Hard Rock Cafe’s 15% off military discount on any other items.

Hooters: Active-duty military and retired military members get a free entrée from the Hooters Veterans Day Menu with purchase of a beverage on 11 November. Dine-in only.

Hy-Vee: Active-duty military members and veterans get a free dine-in breakfast on 11 November, from 6 to 10 am.

Krispy Kreme: At participating locations, veterans get a free small coffee and doughnut of choice on 11 November. Offer is available in-store and drive-thru only.

Red Lobster: Veterans, active-duty military and reservists get a free appetizer or dessert from a special menu on 11 November. Offer available in-store only.

Starbucks: Starbucks is giving those who have served a free tall hot brewed coffee on 11 November. Also, for every cup of hot brewed coffee sold that day, Starbucks is donating 25 cents to be divided evenly between Headstrong and Team Red, White & Blue to support the mental health of military communities.

Taco John’s: John’s is giving away a free Small Beef Taco Combo Meal on 11 November, Taco when guests enter the promo code “VETERAN” under the MORE tab in the Taco John’s App.
