Giants 10 vs. 30 Bucs summary: scores, stats and highlights | NFL

Update:
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers snapped their two game losing streak on Monday night against the New York Giants. Tom Brady threw for 307 yards and two touchdowns.

Mike Evans now stands alone in Bucs history with 72 TDs

Arians already has his eyes on the next prize... Thanksgiving.

When the GOAT speaks, we listen

Mike Evans setting the Bucs all time record with his 72nd career touchdown for the franchise.

The Bucs run game had a nice night, and Jones got into the endzone on the 6 yard scurry.

This is one of the few highlights for the Giants defense against Brady and the Bucs

Look at the 44 year old Brady showing the wheels and the agility

Godwin with the first score of the night on the opening drive of the game.

BUCS WIN!!!

The Giants kept it close for a half, but too much Brady and too much of the Bucs defense in that second half as Tampa Bay cruises to victory to snap a 2 game slide.

The Bucs go for it on 4th and 6 and get it with a pass to Johnson and that will be the end of the night as TB will take a knee until the clock winds down.

Jones sacked twice in a matter of seconds and the TB defense has yet to take their foot off the gas.

Gabbert's first drive ends in a three and out and the Giants get the ball back with 4:30 to go.

Blain Gabbert is in the game now as Tom Brady's night has come to an end.

Jones can't find Engram on third down and the Giants are now 1/8 on third down conversions.

Dixon's punt is downed at the TB 19

The Tampa Bay Bucs have scored 20 unanswered points

FIELD GOAL BUCS!!!

The Bucs settle for yet another field goal and it seems like they have taken their foot off the pedal on the offensive end.

Succop's 30 yard field goal is good and he's 3/3 tonight.

Brady hits Evans over the middle and Evans pulls up before getting to the sideline. He heads to the bench after the 21 yard gain.

Jones is picked on his pass intended for Slayton, after getting deflected by White, the ball was picked off by Edwards at the Ny 39 yard line.

That's Jones' second interception, and the Giants third turnover of the night.

The Bucs are stopped and will have to punt for just the second time tonight.
NY will start their drive from the 10, but have to hurry. They are running out of time down three scores. 12:31 to go in the fouth quarter.

The Bucs take over from their 22 yard line after the Giants punt.

Jones can't connect with Toney on the right side line, and the Giants are held on third down yet again.

NY are just 1-7 on 3rd down tonight.

A holding call and just now a block in the back flag will back the Giants up and they will have their work cut out when the 4th quarter begins.

2nd and very long coming up after the break.

Barkley is back in the ball game after a brief stint on the sidelines.

Toney had the first down on the catch from Jones, but made a move after being dragged backwards and was ruled short of the marker after forward progress.

Jones hits Toney again on 4th and 2 to keep the drive moving.

Saquon Barkley is over on the sideline talking to the trainer after getting tackled on the 12 yard run. Hopefully it's nothing serious. Barkley has missed too much time this year, and over the last two years.

Barkley finally gets some running room, and he busts a 12 yard run which is his longest of the night.

The big boy McLendon with the pick that led to the Bucs FG.

FIELD GOAL BUCS!!!

The Giants get a stop after the turnover, but Succop drills the 40 yard field goal and the Bucs have a three possession lead.

Mike Evans is now the Bucs all time leader in career touchdowns, passing Mike Alstott

That was Steve McLendon's first career interception after 13 years in the NFL.

INTERCEPTION GIANTS!!!

Uh-oh!!! Jones was in heavy traffic and threw a misguided pass that falls right into the hands of McLendon.

Things just went from bad to worse for the Giants. They trail by 14 with 6:14 to go in the third.

TB take over from the NY 37.

The Giants are in danger of the Bucs pulling away with the game.

TOUCHDOWN TAMPA BAY!!!
Brady again with all kinds of time, and he hits Evans on the five yard reception as he boxed out the defender in the endzone.

The Bucs double the lead on their first drive of the second half.

The Giants aren't doing themselves any favors, Love flagged for a defensive holding and that gives the Bucs a 1st and Goal from the 8 yard line.

Brady with another first down after hitting Godwin for a first down. and the Bucs are in the redzone.

Brady hit Gronk for 14 yards, and Gronk is the leading receiever for the Bucs with 6 catches and 71 yards.

Big gainer for Fournette on the sceen pass, but it's coming back after an illegal formation penalty against Evans

Perriman on the in cut over the middle, good for 14 yards and the Bucs are in Giants territory.

The Giants looked like they were going to get the Bucs to go 3 and out, but Brady hits Evans on 3rd and 11 to keep the drive going.

Jones pressured on the back end off the play action and the Giants take a chance, but the Bucs defense hold strong

Toney makes the catch, but is dragged down short of the marker, and that will bring up a 4th and 1 for the Giants from the TB 26

Jones down the sideline to Kyle Rudolph for a big gainer. 38 yard pass and catch is the longest play of the night for the Giants.

NY get their first first down of the half by a pass interference flag against  Dean.

Tom Brady has won his last 73 games when leading in the second half.

Start of 3rd Q

The Giants will get the ball to start the 3rd quarter. NY might be feeling fortunate to be just a touchdown down, a long scoring drive would be exactly what NY needs.

The Giants got a big break with Brady interception deep in the Bucs territory.

New York Giants
  • 117Yards offensive
  • 36Rushing yards
  • 81Passing yards
  • 25Third down conversion rate

Other than the interception the Bucs have been almost perfect on the offensive end.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • 273Yards offensive
  • 75Rushing yards
  • 198Passing yards
  • 66.7Third down conversion rate

Jones on the sprint to the pylon to put the Bucs up before the half.

(scroll down for more highlights)

New York has been outscored 45-0 in the last two minutes of the first half, and won't get their first points late in the second quarter as the clock hits zero.

That was a fun first half. The Giants are hanging tight, but the Bucs lead 17-10, and have really made just one mistake, but it cost them big time.

Pinion's punt is downed at the 9 yard line, and the Giants will take over with 43 seconds left and a couple timeouts in their pocket.

Godwin takes it down to the 1 yard line on the catch and run over the middle, but it's coming back after a holding call on Wirfs. 3rd and 20 coming up.

Brady taking a shot to Perriman, who got two hands on the ball, but couldn't drag it in. What a throw from Brady who put it on the money from 50 yards.

Brady with all kinds of time again going over the middle to Godwin for 13 yards, and then Brady hits Gronk for a nine yard gainer. Bucs are alrady on the NY 42.

Two Minute Warning

Two minutes to go in the first half. Brady and the Bucs are driving looking to extend their lead before the halftime break.

Evans on the short comeback route, who turns and takes it up the sideline for 15 yards.

After review the ruling on the field was reversed and the Giant elect to punt on 4th down.

TB take over from their 15 with 3:25 to go

Toney had it for a  moment but Winfield ripped it from his grasp. The play was called a catch which would be good for a first down, but it will be reviewed.

The Giants call a timeout on 3rd and 5 after the play clock was about to run out. 3:35 to go in the first half.

The Giants get tricky again and have Toney lauch a long ball to Slayton, there was a flag for PI, but it was picked up by the refs.

Ross on a reverse, picks up a 16 chunk on the first play of the drive

We were expecting points, and points is what we have been given. 5:06 to go in the second half.

TOUCHDOWN BUCCANEERS!!!

Jones cutting the corner and he sprints into the endzone for a 6 yard touchdown run on the left side.

Great response from the Bucs after the mistake on the other end of the field.

Brady hits Brate on the right side and the Bucs have a 1st and Goal from the 6.

Brady allowed all kinds of time and he hits old faithful, Gronkowski, on a 35 yard pick up.

That pass makes it 19 seasons that Brady has passed for over 3,000 yards. Mind you, it's Week 11.

The big boy getting some love. Thomas with the 2 yard TD reception

As you can see, this pick wasn't on Brady

The Giants make the most of the big break after picking off the Brady pass.

TOUCHDOWN GIANTS!!!

On the second play after the turnover the Giants get tricky, and Jones goes to the O lineman Thomas off the play action pass and New York draws level with the Bucs.

INTERCEPTION GIANTS!!!

Big break for the Giants as Brady's pass to the flat bouces off Evans hands and it's picked off by Jackson and returned 10 yards to the TB 5.

Those are exactly the kind of breaks that the Giants need against the Bucs, who have been playing what Bruce Arians calls "stupid football."

No blaming Brady on that pick, that was all Evans.

Jones is pressured after rushing just three on third down. Jones had to release just to avoid the sack and a three and out will force the first punt of the game.

TB take over from their 15 with 10 minutes left in the half.

Barkley gets hits first reception of the game, good for 6 yards and the Giants are facing 3rd and 2.

Three scores in the first three possessions of the night.

FIELD GOAL BUCCANEERS!!!

Brady skies it over the endzone and the Giants secondary holds steady. Brady had all sorts of time after NY rushed just three, but the coverage was excellent in the endzone.

Succop hits the 25 yard field goal and the Bucs lead by a touchdown.

Fournette stopped after a gain of 2 and that brings up a TB 3rd and Goal from the 8 yard line. Big play for the Giants coming up, even though it's early.

Brady picking up the first down on 3rd and 4, and again the Bucs convert with an out route to Evans for 7 yards.

Brady tucks and runs, using a little high step to pick up the first down! The 10 yard run is the longest run of the Bucs night

Start of 2nd Q

Brady going back to Fournette for his third reception of the drive. This time Fournette gets 6.

End of 1st Q

The Bucs move the chains on their first third down of the night, and that will bring us to the end of the first quarter.

That was quick. Both teams get opening drive score, TB driving again, they are inside the Giants 40 to start the second half.

There's Gronk with his first catch of the night, and that's the eighth different Bucs receiver to make a catch.

Fournette doing it on the ground and in the air, he's got a couple receptions already on the drive, oh an by the way Brady is 8/8.

How long until we see Gronk get a catch? He hasn't played since the Bucs loss to the Saints

Both teams get opeing drive scores to start off the night, but the Giants will be upset they let a couple mistakes force them into a field goal

FIELD GOAL GIANTS!!!

The drive comes to a halt after the Bucs get pressure on Jones on third down.

Gano nails the 37 yard field goal, but they can't settle for field goals all night against a Bucs team that is averaging over 40 points at home.

Daniel Jones and the Giants have a 41% redzone conversion rate which is the last in the league, can they convert to open tonight's game?

A false start is not going to help that. NY backed up to 3rd and 14 from the TB 19

Murphy-Bunting flagged for a pass interfernce call on 3rd and 6 and that will keep the drive alive. 1st and 10 Giants from the TB 15.

Jones keeping the chains moving with a pass to Engram for nine yards on 3rd and 4. NY are inside the TB 25.

Jones picks up 5 yards on a keeper, and he's going to be a big key of the Giants success. He has to be involved in the Giants run game.

The Giants are at midfield after a couple of Jones completions. and New York are looking in rhythm out of the gate.

That didn't take the Bucs too long

The Giants and Saquon Barkley take the field for the first time tonight and Barkley gets the opening carry, picking up a couple yards.

TOUCHDOWN BUCCANEERS!!!!

That looked way too easy for Tampa Bay and they march into the endzone on an 8 play 73 yard drive. Godwin took the short pass in the flat to the house with a 13 yard catch and run.

The Bucs didn't have a single third down on that drive and Brady connected on all 5 passes to four different receivers.

How will the Bucs respond with no Antonio Brown, they are 5-0 with him and 1-3 without their start receiver.

Brady with a couple quick tosses to Howard, and then Godwin for a couple nice chunks and two first down.

Start of 1st Q

We are underway from Tampa Bay. The Bucs and Brady will have the first possession

Gronk is available, but Antonio Brown is out for the Bucs.

We are just 10 minutes away from kick off at Raymond James Stadium.

According to Ceasars sportbook the Buccaneers are 11.5 point favorites with the Over/Under set at 50.

The Bucs going red tonight at Raymond James.

Think Brady wants to shake off this two game slide?

The Bucs are in the building showing all kinds of drip.

QB 1 is ready New York.

Who's ready for soome football?

Saquon is back

The Giants showing the buisness drip rolling up to Raymond James

Giants finally getting healthy

Good news for the Giants coming into tonight's game, Saquon Barkley looks like he is set to return from an ankle injury since the Cowboys game in early October. Barkley, Kenny Golladay and Kadarius Toney are finally all healthy

Tampa Bay right at home at Raymond James.

The Bucs are undefeated at home this season, and are averaging 40.5 points a game

Back-to-back-to-back losses for Brady?

Tom Brady is hoping to avoid a three game losing streak. If the Bucs lose it woudl be the first time No. 12 has dropped three in a row since 2002.

Will Saquon return tonight?

Saquon Barkley is a game time decision, and will only play if his injured ankle feels fit for action. Back up running back Devontae Booker is also listed as questionable after being limited in practice with a hip injury.

Can the Giants turn things around?

After losing their first three games the New York Giants have won three of their last six. The Giants defense has turned on since giving up 82 points in a two game span against the Cowboys and the Rams. They are allowing just 13 points a game in their last three, and will need to be on point tonight against a frusterated Bucs offense.

Four interceptions in two games

Brady has thrown for nearly 600 yards in the last two games, but has also thrown four picks have hurt the Bucs in the last two losses.

Brady's bumpy last two games

It’s strange to see Tom Brady lose twice in a row, and it’s even more rare to see Brady lose a second straight game with a bye week in the middle. No one said it would be smooth sailing for Tampa Bay in their bid to repeat as Super Bowl champions, but they are going to have to sail out of this squall.

Can Bucs bounce back?

Tampa Bay is on a two game slide after dropping games to the Saints, and then the Washington Football Team after a bye week. The Bucs still lead the conference but are losing ground in the race for home field in the playoffs.
