The NBA saw nine games on Wednesday, which included a thrilling last-second Bucks victory over the Hornets. For the Hornets, Miles Bridges, PJ Washington, and Terry Rozier were on a roll in the first quarter and the Hornets were leading 41-25. As usual, it was Giannis Antetokounmpo who scored the most points for the Bucks and by halftime, he'd scored 21 and the Bucks were down by just eight. It was tough for the Bucks, but they did eventually take the lead back late in the third quarter. It was the fourth quarter that was the most exciting. The Bucks and Hornets went back and forth before a lay-in by Giannis at the last second gave the Bucks the win, 127-125.

Other highlights from Wednesday include a huge win for the Mavericks over the Pelicans. Luka Doncic scored 28 of those points and had 14 assists in the 139-107 win. The Celtics pulled a win over the 76ers with Jayson Tatum scoring 26 points and a career-high 16 rebounds to help lead the Celtics to the 88-87 victory.

Scores and leaders in the NBA Wednesday

The Hawks beat the Pacers 114-111. Trae Young led the game for the Hawks, scoring 33 points including two crucial last-second free throws.

The Magic defeated the Nuggets 108-103. Cole Anthony led the Magic with 24 points and Wendell Carter Jr. added 18 to the score.

The Wizards got the victory over the Timberwolves 115-107. It was Montrezl Harrell who led the Wizards with 27 points and Bradley Beal contributed a solid 19.

The Cavaliers got a big win over the Heat, 111-85. Kevin Love led the Cavs with 22 points to end a 20-game losing streak to the Heat. Jarrett Allen wasn't far behind with 19 points and Darius Garland had 16 for the Cavaliers.

The Rockets beat out the Thunder 114-110. Jae'Sean Tate scored a career-high of 32 points in the Rockets victory over the Thunder.

The Kings defeated the Clippers 124-115. DeAaron Fox led the Kings with 24 points and Davion Mitchell added 20 to the score.
