Where to watch all the Spider-Man movies in 2021 on streaming
Spider-Man 'No Way Home' will hit theaters 17 December. If you aren’t emersed in the Spider-verse or just want to refresh your memory, here’s how you can…
Spider-Man is one of the most relatable characters that came from the genius of Stan Lee, because Peter Parker’s an “average guy who turned into a hero” and yet he still has problems. None more so than having his identity unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from his superhero alter ego.
Although you probably don’t have time to read the colossal literary collection that constitutes the transition of Peter Parker from a brainy science prodigy into a web-slinging superhero swinging from building to building, if you have a few hours you can get up to speed on Spidey.

Movies to watch before Spider-Man: No Way Home
To delve into the Spider-verse for the uninitiated, you’ll want to go back to the beginning starting with the 2002 Spider-Man. You’ll get to know the back story of how Peter Parker gets his powers and develops into the friendly neighborhood superhero. However, if you want to cut to the chase to have your bearings for Spider-Man: No Way Home, you can start with the most recent series in the franchise, Spider-Man: Homecoming from 2017.
Even then, you might want to do some back research as Spider-Man was integrated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) with his appearance in Captain America: Civil War in 2016. In that movie he is recruited by Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, to help stop a rogue faction of the Avengers.
In Spider-Man: No Way Home Parker will seek help from Doctor Strange in his search to navigate the new reality he finds himself in. Not to mention some characters from past Spidey movies will be making an appearance in this latest addition to the franchise.
You will have to do some searching to find the Spider-Man movies
If you are hoping to watch the Spider-Man movies on Disney+ you’ll be sorely disappointed. Sony still has the rights to Spider-Man and its universe of characters. The two companies signed a deal that will see new releases from 2022 to 2026 move to Disney+ once Netflix’s exclusivity rights expire.
In the meantime, the movies can be found across a range of other platforms, but you’ll need to have a subscription to the service or pay as you go. Yet it might just be worth your effort to make a trip down to your local library where you just may get lucky and find them on DVD.
