Tim Weah has seen more minutes this season since helping Lille OSC win the 2020/21 Ligue 1 trophy. The United States international has made 14 league appearances this campaign and provided four assists, but he has yet to find the back of the net this year across all competitions.

Tim Weah could be transferred to LaLiga

The 21-year-old has been a constant for manager Jocelyn Gourvennec this season. Tiim Weah has started eight matches and substituted in six times. He has played a total of 742 league games with Lille and according to several reports, he could switch teams next month.

Per report, Sevilla has been struggling with injured players so far this season and they have been eyeing Tim Weah for some time now. Youssef En-Nesyri has been injured for months, Roberto Acuña has not been consistent, Erik Lamela is out until March due to a shoulder injury and Suso has yet to reach full-fitness.

The LaLiga side urgently need to bring players during the next transfer window and they have shown interest in Tim Weah. The United States international has not consolidated himself as a regular starter, but has played almost all the games for Lille this campaign. He is young and talented and Sevilla could be a good fit for him to keep developing as a player to help the team on offense.
