Tom Brady shows that age has not slowed him down in the least as he racks up yet another record, this time becoming the first player in NFL history to be named to 15 Pro Bowls.

The NFL has given a teaser of who will be participating in the 2022 Pro Bowl, releasing the names of five players ahead of the full reveal on Wednesday. Those named aside from Brady were Indiana Colts running back Jonathan Taylor, Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald.

MVP contenders

Brady and Taylor are in the running for the NFL’s MVP of the year, with only a few games left in the regular season. The Buccaneers quarterback’s achievements often make the news and the 44-year-old's value to the team is unquestionable.

Taylor’s performance, though not as headline-grabbing, demonstrates that the Colts would not be a serious playoff contender without him, rushing for 1,518 yards this season and leading the league with 19 touchdowns.

Kupp is a standout among his peers, leading all receivers in the NFL with 113 receptions for 1,489 yards. He has had at least seven catches for 90 yards per game except for one this season. Kelce is playing his seventh consecutive Pro Bowl, and has passed the 1,000 yard mark for the sixth year in a row.

Donald recorded a season’-high three sacks in their win over the Cardinals last week. He is now only 4.5 sacks shy of hitting the 100-mark. The 30-year-old is a serious contender for Defensive Player of the Year.

The names of the other Pro Bowl participants will be announced on Wednesday, Dec. 22 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on the NFL Network. The 2022 Pro Bowl will be held on Feb. 6 at Allegiant Stadium.
