What a chance that is for Pape Gueye. Ciss sends in a fantastic left wing cross. Gueye is at the back post but somehow sends his header wide.
Senegal did reach the last AFCON final and they now have one foot in this year's final. Burkina have failed to really threaten today and will need to step it up in the next 20 minutes.

It remains all-square here. Burkina have been impressive in the opening half. I'm expecting quite a bit of added time at the end of the 45 after two separate off the ball head clashes.
Burkina Faso have been on top for the last five minutes. Bande strikes over Mendy's bar. The Chelsea keeper sends the dreaded stare to his backline as Burkina continue to threaten.

Guira is booked and will miss the final if Burkina Faso are to advance to the final.
Dieng's header flashes wide. It's excellent play once again by Ciss, who sends it onto Dieng's head. The Marseille man can't keep it on target.
Sarr sends in a fine corner. Tapsoboa kicks it clear as the ball is heading goalward. That could have easily been 1-0 to Senegal.

This game will go to extra-time and penalties if necessary.
The ball is worked down Senegal's right. It falls to Crystal Palace midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate, who sends his cross into Koffi's hands. He was among the goals after tapping home a sweeping move to make it 2-1 to Senegal in the quarter-finals against Equatorial Guinea.
Ciss goes close for Senegal. The pacey left-back cuts inside onto his right foot and his low shot flies past Koffi's left-hand post.
Burkina go up the other end and win their own corner after some good wing play by Bande. Senegal clear the resulting corner. 0-0
Bertrand Traoré clears Senegal's corner with his head.
It has been a cagey affair so far as the sides settle into their last four clash. The winner of this will play Egypt or Cameroon in the final.
Mendy gets his first touch in the Senegal goal. The Chelsea number 1 will be hoping his defence gives him the much-needed cover today.
Ciss flies down the left but his cross-cum-shot ends up flying over Koffi's goal.
Mendy and Bayala are both now back on the field of play after that clash of heads. Good news.
The game resumes as Mendy receives treatment on the sideline. Sadio Mané wins the first free-kick of the game after a foul by Sangare.
It looks like Mendy will need to be replaced. Papa Gueye is warming up.

Aliou Cisse's side were comfortably the better team in the first half and they deservedly went ahead in the 28th minute when Famara Diedhiou coolly slotted past Jesus Owono after being played in by Sadio Mane.
Equatorial Guinea pulled one back when Jannick Buyla controlled Pablo Ganet's pass and fired past Edouard Mendy before the Senegal goalkeeper could set himself.
Kouyate needed just three minutes after being introduced from the bench to restore Senegal's advantage after 68 minutes, flicking home after a mix-up in the opposition defence, while fellow substitute Sarr wrapped up the win with a simple finish 11 minutes from full-time as his side reached the semi-finals in consecutive tournaments for the first time.
Burkina Faso, who are ranked 60th in the world, have won all four AFCON quarter-finals they have ever played including three in the past four tournaments. The Burkinabe lost 1-0 to Nigeria in the 2013 final.

Senegal went into the tournament among the favourites but hardly impressed in the group stage, scoring only once from the penalty spot as the Lions of Teranga benefited from a weak set of opponents.
