SIGA WoW: Life after sport, how athletes change careers

SIGA’s Women on Wednesdays Show starts 2022 with its 8th episode: 7 incredible women sharing their views and experiences on life with and after sports.

SIGA's Women's on Wednesdays show is back with a bang, starting 2022 with the program's eighth episode, dedicated to Life after sport: how athletes manage the transition to a life away from the sport they have dedicated their lives to.

For this edition host and SIGA Global COO Katie Simmonds invites seven incredible athletes, some already retired, others very much not so, to discuss their ground breaking careers and the challenges they face when they transition to a life after sport.

SIGA's Women on Wednesdays is an initiative from SIGA, the world’s largest coalition seeking integrity and good governance in sport, that takes place virtually every first Wednesday of the month to tackle, from a female perspective, some of the most fascinating and challenging topics in sport, many of which are not talked about enough.

Each edition of the show brings together an array of engaging speakers to discuss, debate and help pave the way for other women, showcasing the importance of women empowerment in sport.
