Who is hosting the Oscars 2022? When and where are the 2022 Oscars?
The nominations for the 2022 Oscars were released on Tuesday, find out who is hosting and where they are being hosted.
The Oscars nominees have been announced, marking the beginning of the awards ceremony hype for 2022. Power of the Dog, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, leads the way with 12 nominations, while science fiction epic Dune follows with 10.
The 94th Oscars are set to take place on Sunday, March 27, at 8 p.m. ET, or 5 p.m. PT.
For the first time since 2018, the awards will have a host. Something more usual is the location of the ceremony.
Who is hosting the awards?
While it has been announced that there will be a host, or multiple, it has not been revealed who has been tapped up.
Bookies favorites include names such as Steve Martin and Martin Short, Tom Holland, and Tiffany Haddish.
But viewers will have to keep their eyes peeled for announcements as The Academy has not been forthcoming with the information. There is still plenty of time before the awards launch to drum up hype, though.
Where are they being hosted?
The Dolby Theatre will play host to the Oscars for the 20th time this year, having been dropped for the 2021 awards for the Los Angeles Union Station.
This number of appearances makes The Dolby Theatre the second most common Oscars venue out of the bunch, following closely on the heels of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, which hosted the awards for nearly 30 years.
