Keylor Navas reunites with Real Madrid teammates in Paris
Cameras caught the Costa Rica international arriving at the Parc des Princes alongside former Real Madrid teammates prior to the Champions League game.
Keylor Navas was caught by the cameras arriving at the Parc des Princes alongside Toni Kroos and Luka Modric prior to Paris Saint-Germain's Champions League win over Real Madrid. The Costa Rica international left the LaLiga giants in 2019, but he remains in close contact with his former teammates.
Navas joined Real Madrid players prior to the match
The 35-year-old spent five seasons at the Santiago Bernabéu and won a total of 12 trophies, including one LaLiga and three consecutive UEFA Champions League titles as the starting goalkeeper.
Navas greeted some of his former teammates as they were coming off the bus and started walking to the locker rooms alongside Modric and Kroos. The Costa Rican was left on the bench in PSG’s 1-0 win as Mauricio Pochettino decided to start Gianluigi Donnnarumma.
Navas and the Italian are locked in a tussle to become PSG’s No. 1 this season following the latter's transfer from AC Milan, but in the Champions League Donnarumma (4) has played more than Navas (3). It is yet to be determined who will start in the second leg at the Santiago Bernabéu on 9 March.
