49ers QB Garoppolo to undergo shoulder surgery
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo may have surgery done on his shoulder soon, which is likely to keep him out of the field until the summer.
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo’s probable trade this month will have to take a backseat to surgery on his throwing shoulder that he is expected to undergo soon. The operation is likely to sideline the 30-year-old for approximately four months.
Garoppolo has also been dealing with a torn ligament in his right thumb, but for the moment he is able to avoid going through an operation to resolve it.
