What NBA games are on today, Saturday 5 March?
The NBA East will hold a good old fashioned brawl as the top two teams meet head to head. Both are looking to take hold of the reins in the conference
Two Eastern heavyweights will slug it out when the Philadelphia 76ers travel to Miami to face the Heat. Philly is riding a four game win streak and are coming into this match with a two and a half game lead on Miami. The Heat have won four of their last five, dropping a heart-breaker against the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday. They have looked red-hot lately and will be looking to get back on track and put some distance between themselves and the Chicago Bulls.
With a few more injuries hampering their lineup, Miami may have the tougher fight on their hands, but at the end of the day, this is a 50/50 matchup.
Out west, while the Phoenix Suns have run nearly out of sight, the real struggle is for the number two seed. Both the Golden State Warriors and the Memphis Grizzlies will be looking to make sure that they stay in the driving seat. The Warriors are 7.5 games back with the Grizzlies nipping at their heels at 8 games adrift. Each team has a solid chance to get the win tonight, although a betting man would have to favor Memphis’ odds over Orlando just that little bit more.
