Sergio Ramos' continuity at Paris Saint-Germain may not be guaranteed from June. According to prestigious journalist Fabrizio Romano, there is a strong possibility that the Spanish centre-back will leave the French capital this summer. PSG signed Ramos with the intention of winning the Champions League but due to his ongoing injury problems, he hasn't even been able to make his first appearance in the competition this season.

Ramos missed the first leg of PSG's Last 16 tie against Real Madrid and he is also expected to miss the return leg at the Bernabéu. He is unavailable for this evening's Ligue 1 game against Nice after failing to overcome a calf muscle injury which kept him sidelined for the whole of February. So far this season, the former Real Madrid captain has played just five games and his struggles with injuries have persisted since August.

Last week, PSG's Director of Sport Leonardo was asked if he had any regrets about signing Ramos. He admitted, indirectly, that it was a mistake to sign the 35-year-old, which suggests that the club might be thinking about rescinding his contract at the end of the season. Fabrizio Romano claims that PSG continue to support Ramos and won't make any decision in haste, but are likely to carefully consider the player's future once the campaign is over.
