Real Madrid advances to the quarterfinals in victory over PSG
Benzema was the man of the night, with a hat-trick winning Real Madrid the game 3-1 over Paris Saint Germain and moving them on to the quarterfinals.
PSG was looking pretty confident and pretty comfortable going into the second half of the Champions League game against Real Madrid on Wednesday, Mbappé having scored the only goal of the night and in general being the dominant team.
PSG came into the night up 1-0 over Real Madrid, but that quickly changed once Karim Benzema took control. His three consecutive strikes put Madrid ahead of PSG and gave them the victory.
Mbappé was dominating the first half, scoring the first goal in the 39th minute. Benzema's first goal came at minute 61, when Vinicius passed to Benzema after robbing it from Donnarummainto. Just 15 minutes later, Mordic passed it to Benzema, giving him the chance to tie up the aggregate. He didn't even let PSG recover from that one before hitting his third goal right into the net, putting Madrid ahead in the game and in the aggregate.
