NBA fans get ready for a full night of NBA games on Friday, with the Timberwolves-Magic starting off the night, and the Wizards-Lakers finishing it off.
Thursday night witnessed two important NBA games, with the Nets-Sixers showcasing this season’s marquee matchup, and the Warriors-Nuggets featuring two MVP candidates.
The much anticipated match saw the heated-rivalry between the Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers, which will always be alive, but one team was more heated than the other, Brooklyn.
Starting off hot, the Nets never looked back in the 129-100 win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
As for the Warriors-Nuggets, the Golden State seeked revenge just a few days after being defeated by the Denver Nuggets for a season-worst fifth-straight loss. The Warriors closed the game with a 13-0 run to beat the same Nuggets 113-102, with Stephen Curry scoring 24 of his 34 points in the second half of the game.
The superstar shooter said he is "going to enjoy it for sure," as he just surpassed 20,000 career NBA points following the defeat.
The Warriors return home to host the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night, while the Nuggets host Toronto.
