The 2021 Academy Awards were historic as they took place in the middle of the pandemic, which flipped the film industry upside down. Theaters closed, streaming from home, production halts, limited gatherings, brought Hollywood to its knees.

While there were changes to the ceremony's format to account for the pandemic last year, one aspect remained constant: the dresses. Industry icons still managed to rock their best on the red carpet and we have compiled some of last year's favorite looks.

The star of the hit series Euphoria wore a bright yellow Valentino Couture to the awards last year. This look was a favorite in the fashion world, especially how the dress was paired with the diamond necklaces.
