Who are the 2022 Oscars hosts? When and where are the 94th Academy Awards?
For the first time since the 1980s, the Academy Awards will have three hosts - and for the first time ever, they will all be women.
The 94th Academy Awards will be hosted by Regina Hall, Amy Schumer and Wanda Sykes, as Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre returns as the Oscars’ sole venue following 2021’s multi-location event.
"Expect the unexpected!"
Hall, Schumer and Sykes were confirmed as the 2022 Oscars hosts in February, ceremony producer Will Packer commenting: “This year’s show is all about uniting movie lovers. It’s apropos that we’ve lined up three of the most dynamic, hilarious women with very different comedic styles.
“I know the fun Regina, Amy and Wanda will be having will translate to our audience as well. Many surprises in store! Expect the unexpected!”
“We want people to get ready to have a good time,” Hall, Schumer and Sykes said. “It’s been a while.”

First Oscars with host in four years
The Oscars have been hostless since 2018, when Jimmy Kimmel did the honours, and have not been jointly hosted since James Franco and Anne Hathaway teamed up in 2011.
