Things don't look good for the Lakers
Meanwhile, the race to clinch slots at the NBA playoffs and play-in games continues, with the fate of the Los Angeles Lakers turning even less hopeful after last night’s 129-118 loss to the Denver Nuggets. This sixth consecutive defeat, combined with the San Antonio Spurs’ 113-92 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers, pulls San Antonio ahead in the contest for the last play-in spot in the Western Conference.
After last night’s games, the Lakers (31-47) are in 11th place in the play-in standings, three games behind the New Orleans Pelican (34-44), and two games behind the Spurs (33-45)
