Vinicius Tobias signs loan deal with Real Madrid until 2023

The Brazilian right-back joins Real Madrid Castilla on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk.

Update:
Vinicius Tobias signs loan deal with Real Madrid until 2023

Brazilian Vinicius Tobias has become a Real Madrid player. The 18-year-old full-back, who last week completed his loan move from Shakhtar to Real Madrid to play for Castilla, went to Valdebebas on Monday to sign until June 2023.

The young defender then took to his social networks: "I have fulfilled my dream, my destiny. I can say that a boy from Ermelino Mataraazzo is going to play for the best club in the world".

Brazilian youth international

Vinicius has joined after FIFA granted permission to clubs to sign players belonging to Ukrainian clubs on or before April 1, due to the Russian invasion of the country. Atlético Madrid also had their eyes on the young Brazilian, who joined Shakhtar a year ago for €4.5 million.

He has also represented Brazil at under-17 level. Madrid have an option to buy the player included in the deal for €18 million when the loan is up in the summer of 2023.

Raúl's Castilla side will now welcome him into their squad. "I want to thank Shakhtar and I want to thank the Ukrainian warriors," he said. "The future awaits me, I'm ready to shine."
