Ramsey opens up
Bella Ramsey is one of the key actresses in the series and stars alongside Pedro Pascal with the series set twenty years into a pandemic caused by a mass fungal infection, which causes its hosts to transform into zombie-like creatures and causes the collapse of society.

Nottingham native Ramsey has shot to fame across the world but admitted in interviews prior to the second series that she has been silently battling with a challenging health issue.
She spoke about emetophobia which is an intense anxiety surrounding the act of vomiting or witnessing others being sick.
“All my emetophobia stuff on set I just sort of had to deal with because I didn’t have a choice which was good. It was definitely there. I was just like forced to handle it because you’re fighting the clock all the time and there isn’t time to let it become anything.”
They continued, discussing the daily battle and behind-the-scenes moments of vulnerability: “I did have a couple of panic attacks on set as you do quietly.
