Ben Stiller tells Travis Kelce about meeting Taylor Swift at a Knicks game “We had the best time, she was incredible”

Actor and comedian Ben Stiller is the latest A-list guest to appear on the hugely popular ‘New Heights’ podcast hosted by Jason and Travis Kelce. The weekly podcast is now one of the most successful in the United States and signed a huge $100 million deal with Amazon last year.

The podcast usually covers sports - the NFL in particular - but they also dabble with general news and entertainment stories. Stiller’s appearance on this Wednesday’s show gave them the opportunity to delve into the world of celebrity and the actor even had an anecdote about Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

“By the way, I went to a Knicks game with Taylor,” Stiller told Travis. “She was there, this was, like, 10 years ago, and I was there with my son and she literally, we FaceTimed my daughter who’s a huge Swiftie, she’s 23 now. And we had the best time. She was incredible.”

“I appreciate that. I think the same thing, so it’s perfect,” Travis replied, before adding: “Maybe we can get Taylor to another Knicks game.”

The New York Knicks can count many famous fans, including Spike Lee, Chris Rock, Howards Stern and Jerry Stern. But in terms of pure dedication few will come close to Ben Stiller’s obsession with the team.

In an interview with ESPN last year, Stiller revealed that he clears his schedule to make it to Knicks games and admitted that he is guilty of “being maybe a little too into it.”

“I guess it just became an outlet kind of, and like I said, it was kind of like, just an organic way of expressing myself,” Stiller added. “And then I started to engage with some of these fans because it’s just fun on that level, when it’s just about the game or about the team, and then you connect with these people who are as passionate.”

Nevertheless, the intensity of his love for the Knicks didn’t seem too off-putting for Swift when they last met. It remains to be seen if Travis will manage to arrange a return to the Knicks for his partner, but a Kelce-Swift-Stiller courtside meet-up would be quite something.
