Beyoncé blasted for tickets selling for less than a McDonald’s meal: What her haters don’t realize
A social media account tries to start beef with Beyoncé over low ticket prices, meanwhile, she’s already been paid.

Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour is set to begin on Monday, April 28, 2025.
The international superstar’s Renaissance Tour was her most successful, from a financial standpoint, generating more than half a billion dollars, according to Live Nation Entertainment.
Where the comparison began
Last week, the X account, Pop Hub, accused the singer of failing to capture the attention of fans, pointing to ticket prices as low as $20, which happen to be lower than the price of a McDonald’s Minecraft meal in some areas.

Since then, the tickets have increased in price, but as Yahoo! News pointed out, the tickets on sale for $20 were being resold, which means that Beyoncé (and the ticket vendor) had already been paid when the original ticket was sold. The tickets are available through verified sellers on Ticketmaster, a company that has received a lot of criticism from fans who are tired of paying high prices, as these intermediaries take a chunk of the profits. For some fans, lower ticket prices, compared to Bey’s last tour, might be a relief.
Critics nevertheless persisted, blaming the music, arguing that though Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album received acclaim, winning the Grammy for Album of the Year and Best Country Music Album, fans prefer other portions of her discography.
However, when looking at the higher prices for tickets at a later date, which even Pop Hub recognized, it is clear that demand is there.

Where ticket prices currently stand
Currently, tickets for the show at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, are selling for around $45. However, when one examines later tour dates, it becomes apparent that ticket prices are significantly higher, with tickets for the shows in Atlanta costing near or above $100.
