Blake Lively is back on set in New Jersey after taking a hiatus to have her fourth child with her husband, Ryan Reynolds — and has stepped into the role of a redhead.

The couple had their fourth baby around the time of Super Bowl 57 back in February, as the actress posted a photo of herself with her husband and mother-in-law clearly not pregnant.

‘It Ends With Us’ filming in New Jersey

Lively stars alongside Justin Baldoni in the new film, ‘It Ends With Us’, and the two were spotted filming Monday.

The actress, who is also executive producer on the project, was in character, sporting a tan halter dress, a pink tee shirt knotted at the waist, and a bright pink trenchcoat, with her long red hair flowing.

It was back in January when Lively first showed off her red locks. The actress posted a selfie on Instagram to tease her upcoming role.

Based on the novel of the same name

The movie is based on Colleen Hoover’s 2016 novel ‘It Ends With Us’, which is a story about a woman named Lily, played by Lively, who graduates college and moves to a new city — where she soon falls in love.

However, once she starts a new life with her new beau Ryle, played by Baldoni, she has a blast from the past in the form of an old flame.

The novel has been translated into over 40 languages and has been on The New York Times Best Seller List for almost 100 weeks.

The author also posted about the upcoming film on Instagram back in January, where she revealed the story was “loosely inspired by” her mother.

“[My mother] got us out of a scary situation when I was little and brought us here to this house,” Hoover wrote on Instagram.

“Our Lily is going to be played by Blake Lively,” the author announced following the tribute to her mother. “Blake Lively, y’all. She’s my dream Lily.”
