The joint Summer Stadium Tour will take in 23 cities across North America, with Def Leppard and Journey headlining each show.
Def Leppard and Journey have confirmed the dates and venues of a joint stadium tour - named The Summer Stadium Tour - across the United States (and Canada) in 2024, which will also see them team up with Steve Miller Band, Heart and Cheap Trick.
When and where does The Summer Stadium Tour start and finish?
The rock legends will get their 23-city tour underway at Busch Stadium in St. Louis on 6 July 2024 and finish up at Coors Field in Denver a little over two months later on 8 September 2024. 22 shows will take place on U.S. soil, with a quick venture over the border to Toronto, Canada on 2 August.
Def Leppard and Journey will be the main stars of the show, with the other supporting acts varying by city. Cheap Trick will played the first two and last two dates, with Heart having a three-night run in the middle in Cleveland, Toronto and Boston. Steve Miller Band will join the big two on stage for 16 of the 23 gigs.
Def Leppard and Journey’s busy touring schedule
Both headline bands are in the midst of a busy period touring-wise, with the English quintet having played a sold-out summer tour in North America in 2022 along with Mötley Crüe, Poison and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts. After a few months off, they went on the road once again with Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee and Co as part of The World Tour, which only finished a few weeks ago.
Journey, meanwhile, recently announced 2024 dates on their Freedom Tour, which celebrates the 50th anniversary of their foundation and started all the way back in February 2022. They will play in arenas across the United States from 9 February until 29 April before joining forces with Def Leppard shortly afterwards.
